Subject:70.3 to 70.3 in same season...where to start
I finished my first half two weeks ago and I have another one set in 11 weeks. What would you recommend to follow for a training guide? If I followed a typical guide and go ten weeks out from the event the miles would be far less than I'm capable of which makes me think I'll slow down. The first half went well outside of the run (my nutrition was WAY OFF). I finished in 6:23 and want to do sub 6 (my run was 2:43-cramped, vomited and hated the last 5 miles). Any help is appreciated!!

I'm bridging an IM to a HIM, 10 weeks apart and I learned one lesson I can pass on....have a solid recovery and start building back up slower than you want to, let your body dictate. I went back to hard training way too soon and ended up both injured(stress fracture) and feeling really flat. Lack of a good recovery totally blew up in my face 4 weeks after IM and I ended up having to back track. I feel I am going into my HIM this weekend not as prepared as I would like since I messes up my recovery, which set my build up way back.
