So, for some reason, when I ride, my nose goes into overdrive. Gushing. I mean, the occasional farmer blow is to be expected, but this... Seriously, I could do a farmer blow every quarter mile with discharge to spare. It's BAD! Running, no problem -- dry nose. Swimming? Well, I have no idea, as I'm exhaling through my nose all the time. But on the bike...

Any one else get this?

I have the exact same issue and believe its pretty common though I have no idea why.  The worse is when I miss and end up snotting on my shoulder.  I hate when that happens.

Odd.  I have this issue running, not biking.

Stew!  Tongue out

Same with me but it sounds like your situation is worse than mine.

Happens to me as well.
It might be exercise-induced rhinitis.

Yeah, but was that snot rocket yours or someone elses? Yell

Always wondered if I alone had this problem.  So glad to find out there's enough of us for club...

I rode to work on Tuesday for the first time since early June (recovering from an injury.)  About a mile down the road I saw a big drip fly out of my nose and hit the ground. I remember the thought popping into my head, "man, I've missed that!"

The point is to get the snot to MISS the bike ...

People can't believe what-all comes out of me, and how much, during training.

I thought it came from years of smoking, and it may well, but other people who have never smoked do this, too.
