Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5am packed the car and the family and drove 1.25 hours to the race venue. Ate a Cliff bar and drank some Gatorade Endurace on the way.

What would you do differently?:

My rack was at the back....transition times are figured into the legs of the raee so this is just and estimate

I had an 11-23 on the back of my tri bike so needless to say I didn't climb all that well. Had some good speed on the flats and downhills though.

Bring bigger gears or a road bike

Had a bad side cramp coming off the bike. It took the first mile or so to work it out.
