This is a complete shot in the dark.....Does anyone know of any back door ways into the upcoming IM AZ (Nov 21).  I signed up last December but never received confirmation other than an email. I did not think anything of this until August when I contacted IM and they informed me that they did not have my race registration information.  Hours of phone conversations later I was devastated to learn that I was not in the race! I am a 39 year old female who is ready to do this race.  I am leaving for Macedonia at the end of December and will not have the opportunity to train for a 2011 Ironman.  Does anyone have any "constructive" ideas or advice???

Unless you're an executive and can get in the XC challenge, or have  a relationship with a sponsor to get a sponsor slot.... nope.

Just curious as to how you didn't notice that you had an extra $575 in your checking account.  Assuming they didn't charge you (and if they did, that's another story

Any chance you'd consider doing the "silverman" in Vegas?  Time and location are as close as you're going to get to IMAZ. Hate to see you train all year and come up empty...I love Vegas and the race reports I've read are all positive. Registration closes out 10/20. Just a thought.

I thought IMAZ sold out the day after the event?  How could you have signed up in December?  It should have already been sold out by then.

The community and EC slots were open for some time after the regular slots were gone.
