Hi,

I am looking at doing a HIM in June (Oliver) and was considering doing the Historic Half Marathon in Fort Langley in Feb 2011 as an indicator to see how my running is.

Does anyone have any opinions/thoughts on the race (i.e. hilly/easy/hard/organised etc) as I am thinking about signing up before the end of the month.

Also - Does anyone know when Oliver HIM usually gets booked up by?

HI,

Thanks for the info on the Historic Half, I am figuring that if I can do the HH, the Oliver course will be OK (however after a 93km ride, I'm not so sure!!!)

I will PM you regarding Oliver as I am keen to make my first HIM a good one and Oliver looks like ideal.

For those who have done this event, where are the 'aid stations' or whatever ya call the locations that water or gatorslime is handed out) ?
I had a look at the course map on the event website, and see where the  km markers are.... Is there a stn at every km?

Another question - are there race/pace bunnies at an event like this?

Anyone still racing this one on Sunday?

I did the First Half last weekend... so have decided to drop back to the 10K at this event
