I see you Hi Gene. I so want to poke you....(in the eye), every time I look at your picture. Confuzzled on neg. energy thread post, GNO. mrs gno wants a maid. mr gno thinks it is not a smart use of money. the question is...who does most of the housework? i want a maid reallll bad. How 'bout butlercabanaboy? does he clean the house? cause that is all i care about right now. my tub needs scrubbed, my floors vacuumed/mopped, dusting, straightening. i need a maid!!! sorry all...I got pulled into a meeting. rant on. before she went back to work, she did most of the cleaning, however, knowing that this would be a big adjustment, I took on most of that workload, and the picking up the kids, from daycare, and cooking 3 nights a week. getting the kids to do homework/baths...etc. However, I am still doing tri's, and now a full mary, so I have no problem letting the laundry sit on the sofa until after I go for a run, or whatever. I also dont seem to think that the sinks and toilets need to be scrubbed at the same time that she does. Now she wants a maid. because a dirty house just makes her anxious, I wont do a good enough job, and she is to tired/doesn't want to spend all of her off time cleaning, or folding clothes. My official answer was..."having someone else clean the bathroom every 2 weeks isnt going to make our lives less hectic...the dishes/laundry/groceries/dinner/kids are not going to wait for the maid to come and do it." Having said that, if you need the maid to make you happy, then I will agree to try it out, and see if it will make our lives easier. on the inside, I am saying..."QUIT BEING A LITTLE BEOITCH, AND GET OVER IT" none of us, get to do what we want, all of the time. rant off. |

I'll rant with you. I put in a full day's work, like my wife. I do as much as I can with the kids, like my wife. I clean the house and do the dishes and do the laundry, like my wife. I do all the lawn work (1.2 acres worth), and do the "man" stuff (assembling things, fixing things, setting mouse traps, taking the car in, working with the electrical/plumbing/etc. when things need to get done), and I train, but the house still isn't as clean as it should be. SOMEBODY is slacking with their assistance in this family, and IT AIN'T ME! So, I hear ya. Who needs an effin' maid when there's time to sit on one's dead azz and watch t.v. for 3 f'n hours?? I don't get it (but that's a different story, too). |
