Comments:

Not a biathlon. Just ocean mile swim. 2 in my age group, don't know how many women, 123rd of everyone out of ~150. Not sure.

Realized I drifted too far out to sea when I saw a huge stingray and lifeguards between me and the beach! Probably swam 1/4 mile extra.
What would you do differently?:

Train for it! Learn to sight better.
