Pre-race routine:

woke-up at 5ish ate PB on toast, coffee and nuun. watched the news walked to the registration got my number had 45 min to spare so, went home and watched sports center for 30 min and jogged to my corral. benefits of living 2 blocks from the start of the race.

jobbed back and forth from the site to the race twice.

very very crowded and a warm-up race for most for the nyc marathon next week. did better than expected though after mile 2 i was breathing very hard. Last mile was by far the slowest. Mile 4 was by far the fastest.. 1min per mile difference. PR for me for 5 miles. Garmin said the race was 5.15 miles long.. can the garmin be that off?

train more
