SunTrust Richmond Marathon : Official Thread

I ran it last year, and it's probably my favorite event.  I wanted to repeat it this year, but didn't have time for the training.  Some of the party-zones on the course are pretty cool.

There are no significant climbs on the course.   The last quarter mile or so is all downhill.

I am running it.  Hoping my legs will be recovered from MCM by then.

Woot!  I am leaving after work to drive to Va Beach, then the family and I are headed to Richmond in the morning.  Very excited as I have heard only good things about this race and the weather looks perfect!  Good luck to everyone!

Conditions were perfect. I could not imagine a better day for a race.

Richmond puts on a good race. No wonder why Runners World chose them for their destination race.

Perfect weather, great race.  My first time for the Richmond marathon.  Very well run event - I will do this one again.
