Run
Comments: Decided to run this as a hard work with goal to beat 50 mins and try to get negative splits. Was announced that they had over 900 registered folks. Very hard on the ankles, but did well, ran the hills strong both up and down. Felt a bit sick towards the end, but didn't throw up, so that is two races in a row I haven't chucked up. If I pushed it harder, might have tossed the cookies. What would you do differently?: Need to get more base miles with longer distance runs. Need more miles and some speed work, but the hills I was strong on. Post race
Warm down: Walked back to my car and drove home to a hot shower What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of base miles and longer runs Event comments: Was very well organized and very high tech. Might have to move it because they had LOTS of runners this year. Was a very good race Last updated: 2010-10-17 12:00 AM
