oatmeal at home. Drove with Diedre. Diet Coke. Clif Bar about an hour before start.

Curved in from 1st to 2nd buoy so did longer than I should have.
What would you do differently?:

could have gone harder. Trying to go easy but might have taken it a little too easy.

Had good rack position. Second rack from bike in/out.
Nice short transition area on both bike and run sides.
Put on socks and jacket bc it was chilly.

start learning flying mounts.

DRank one small bottle of Clif Electrolyte plus a little water. Two clif shot blocks and one hammer gel.
Legs felt very tired on last hills. Didn't think I would have much for the run.
Chipseal surface was awful.
What would you do differently?:

know course better beforehand. Felt like last section would never end.
Jscket was a bit like a sail. Need to find something better for Conroe if it is cool.
