Subject: RE: Flying after a bone scan?Ok, great, thank you! I will have my letter with me just in case but I'm not going to worry about it. I think you're right the that I won't be very radioactive by then. I always find security/the airport an interesting adventure anyway.
I had to get the scan to check for a pelvic stress fracture that my sports med doc suspects. I'll be in shock if I actually do have one. The pain isn't too bad but I've had a weird groin injury that doesn't seem to get better for nearly a month now. Now there's a deep mild ache whenever I walk a little or even from sitting. I felt some pain when she pressed near the pubis symphysis so I ended up getting an ultrasound and bone scan. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it's "just" muscular or even tendon stuff because apparently a stress fracture would be a minimum of 13 weeks off. I'm already getting depressed after only a couple off now. And to think, I posted about feeling "burnt out" from running awhile back. I don't think I'll be complaining like that again! (Whew. I think I needed to vent. Sorry! )
