Pre-race routine:

The race wasn't until noon, so I worked for 4 hours in the morning and then ate some lasagna when I got home.
Event warmup:

Did some walking before to keep the muscles warm.

Comments:

I really disliked this race. I'm a slower runner and on my last lap there were tons of people leaving - across the run course. This includes cars driving since they were parked all over the course. I was pretty disappointed with other runners though. I would have enough respect to move aside while a race is still going on. There is no reason I should have to run around them.
What would you do differently?:

Train a bit more. I took off almost completely for about two weeks.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched a bit

Event comments:

I would not recommend this to others and I will not be doing this again next year.

Good job, sounds like a crappy set up though.

Wow - sorry you didn't have a great time. I've done this race before and just love it so I'm bummed to hear you had a bad experience. Good luck with your races this year!!!
