It's been kind of quiet out there lately. I for one haven't been doing my push ups lately. It's been kind of busy but that's not really an excuse. It only takes a couple of minutes to drop to the floor and do some push ups. I just need to get my sorry behind out of bed so I'm not running late for work and don't have five minutes to spare to do them. I will do better. I got 50 in yesterday, which isn't a big deal, but it is still better than nothing. Lets get going folks. And to those that have been keeping up, good work! You're an inspiration to those of us that aren't doing it like we should.

I tell you, it's easier to do when your son asks if you've done them for the day yet or not...

Alas, my son has moved out to go to college this year so he is no longer home to give me a reminder. My wife doesn't remind me because they interfere with our snuggle time when she does remind me.

Finally went to the doctor to get my wrist checked out. Its not broken but he is concerned that it is still causing problems after over two weeks. He gave me some prednisone to take and if its not better next week he's sending me to a specialist. Definitely no pushups for a while. I guess I'll be getting a slow start on this challenge. I won't be first to get 10k but I will still do it.

I haven't been doing any push ups lately. Doctor gave me the OK to start doing push ups again but only 10 a day for now. It's been a while so I haven't even thought about it lately. I need to do something to help me remember each morning so I can get back into the habit again.

I keep forgetting to log them but keep remembering to do them.  I have incorporated PullUps so I cut down to 2 sets of 30 (1 am and 1 pm)

Silly me. I thought I was the only crazy one that is still up at 1am.

Unfortunately, it's normal for me to see both 1 am and 1 pm. I really need to get on a better schedule.

Doing better with push ups lately. I'm still in the build up phase and no wrist or elbow problems yet. This week I'm doing 20 with 30 next week.

I'm getting better. I remembered my push ups two days in a row. slowly increasing and still no problems with my wrist. My elbow was bugging me a little on Sunday but it seems to be just for a moment and has handled the increase since then without any problems. How are the rest of you doing?

Anyone know how you can kep track of the number of pushups in the BT logs?  It just seems to say how many sets and min/max, but not total.  Am I missing something?

Never too late. There hasn't been a whole lot of activity on this thread lately though.

Emmanem - 2011-01-08 9:32 AM I'm in!  Been wanting to start the 100 push-up challenge (http://www.hundredpushups.com/) This will be great motivation to start!

Thank you for pointing me to this site. I'm taking the challenge - 10,000 it is!. Also I'm taking on the pullups, situps, squats and dips challenges. On my way to become a ninja!

Can I join? I've currently got 3337 so far this year - mix of wall, bench, knee bench (Same as bench but on my knees) and knee variety - not very good at the last option, lol - so I need around 52 a day to finsh by the end of the year.

Sounds like a good challenge. I plan on starting this next year with some other goals I have come up with for my 2012 season.
