Comments: This was a PR so I am cool with it. Running faster has been helping, the long slow had its place, but I can clearly run in the 160-170's so perhaps my training at 150bpm and below was just too easy before. this feels more like a pace my body likes. actually less sore. Regarding nutrition, this is the first race I didn't eat a good breakfast...I had nothing actually and felt fine with the pre race gel and mile 5 gel...no nutrition issues. no cramps either so perhaps a light stomach is the way to go for me at this distance. What would you do differently?: nothing, just right. looking forward to more PR's at this distance. Post race

NO breakfast, just a gel 3 minutes before the start.
walked about 3/4 mile to race start and made it with about 2 minutes to spare before the gun
