Subject: New Gatorade Flavor: Beet Juice?
Lots of articles on the interwebs about the benefits of beets for endurance athletes.
Anyone here hitting the red tuber before a race? I wonder if they'll bust some Tour de France rider for injecting beets?

there's actually a company that produces vegan sports nutrition. They have an electrolyte drink that I believe has beets as one of the ingredients. The company is called vega.

Pass.  Last time I peed pink it cost me $500 in medical tests....

I've always wanted to eat a lot of beets before my pee tests.  "No, its been like that for a while. . . "

I actually had to retake a test after running 6 miles because there was too much blood in my urine.
