San Francisco Bridge to Bridge 10K Swim : Official Thread

Sounds epic! That tide is about 6km/hour, so you can swim a 10k faster than some people run!

On edit: I'm trying to goad a friend of mine from Sac'to into this. If he's in, I'm in. Hey, I can think of worse things than spending the next 6 months doing a bunch of swimming.

Know anyone who's done this? I'd like to hear first hand experiences.
