I'm working with the race director to obtain the bike and run routes. I'll post this when available. I understood that MTSU is doing a lot of construction which has delayed the approval process.

I raced it last year, really enjoyed it, and plan on racing it again this year.

The bike and run portions were well marked last year. Same courses?

Hey Derek - remember last year that guy and girl making out like teenagers while in line for the swim? They looked like they were at least in their early 30s!

I plan on doing this one too. I didn't do it the past couple years because I was training for the full marathon. I'm running the 1/2 this year, plus I think this race is a couple weeks ealier than it has been in the past so it doesn't interfer with CMM.

Looks like I'll be driving up from Huntsville for this. Course looks good and I'd like to get a short triathlon/pool swim under my belt before trying a olympic/ows one.

I'll be there!! This was supposed to be my first ever tri last year but sadly i tried front flipping while in the areo position. 2 weeks out and i'm confident that i now know how to ride a bike.

I'm not sure but will let everyone know if I find out. Hopefully the event director will notify us with some details in the next few weeks. By the way, I ran the run route yesterday for practice and ran my fastest mile ever. Mostly flat and fast.

For what it's worth the race director emailed me back, figured I'd relay the message to you guys. Nice of them to do this considering the small size. Really looking forward to this event.

We will be having a packet pick-up the day before (Saturday, April 2nd) from 4:30-6:30 pm at the MTSU Rec Center. If you are unable to make it on Saturday, you can also pick it up the morning of.

For those who did this last year: Was it easy enough to pass in the pool? Or were there too many over-estimators getting in the way? I'm afraid that being truthful in my swim estimate may make it frustrating.

they spaced it out pretty well, no less than 5 seconds between each swimmer which was nice, there was plenty of space though.

If anyone wants to meet up, you can find me on the podium! Ha, kidding. I did take 3rd last year in my AG. But who knows, there may have only been 3 guys in my AG! Small race, but flat and fun!

I do remember, like Derek said, there was a good 5 seconds between each swimmer.
