Voted for the 17th, Sundays are much better for me as I'll be coaching baseball and Sunday is typically and off day. Thinking of trying a small Battle of Waterloo simulation, with a swim (or swims) after running. Or, maybe just a double sprint. |

I voted for May 7th because that was the earliest date (May 8th is Mother's Day), but as of now, I am not booked for any weekend. Zoo-De-Mac is the weekend of May 21st. Anyone doing this ride? It looks like a great ride with lots of fun, but I have never done it. |

Thanks Bardi...it's an unofficial, semi spur-of-the-moment, quasi-organized triathlon. It's held at Island Lake and generally, we'll all start the swim together, but you're on your own to decide how far you want to go (sprint, olympic, more). No awards, no clocks. Just do as much or as little as you want. Really...it's just a big group training day. Everyone brings some food and we have a big picnic on the beach after. It's a nice way to kick off the season and see everyone again after the long winter. 2010 -
