Comments: How the hell do you get lost on a 5k course??? Especially when you're a middle-of-the-pack runner??? With about 3/10th of a mile to go, there was nobody in front of me. There was a cop standing on a corner ahead... I shrugged my shoulders and he pointed to the right. So I made a right. About 2 blocks later, a gentleman tapped me on the shoulder and told me I made a wrong turn, so I had to backtrack. Had a good laugh about that. What would you do differently?: Pay attention to where I'm going.  Post race
Warm down: drank water, stretched. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not training at all. Not being prepared AT ALL. Event comments: I'm an idiot. :-( Last updated: 2011-01-14 12:00 AM

Not much... trained very little for this race and hadn't run at all in 3-4 weeks. Was hoping to have built up enough of a base over the past few years just to finish. Went in with very low expectations.
