A good chef's knife (I have an 8" blade, but I also have small hands) and a paring knife will get you through almost any scenario. If you can, go to a good knife store and try them out - for me, it all comes down to how it fits in my hand. This. Shun is one of two brands I own and very good. You do need to see if you can at least try out the sizes though. You'll find one that fits like a glove and another that you HATE. |
