Swim
  • 14m 32s
  • 820 yards
  • 01m 46s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swam to first buoy fairly well. Hit some breast stroke over to the turn back and plenty more on the way back as couldn't seem to get my swim straight. Goal was under 15 so got that.
What would you do differently?:

need to get out and do some open water swims.
Transition 1
  • 03m 1s
Comments:

Fairly smooth.
What would you do differently?:

Practice.
Bike
  • 31m 58s
  • 10.5 miles
  • 19.71 mile/hr
Comments:

Felt good. Passed a handful of people. Played some cat and mouse some on Avent Ferry. Peugeot shifted well and felt good. Ate a powerbar gel and drank some gatorade on Tryon. Little short of goal to average 20 mph.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little more.
Transition 2
  • 00m 53s
Comments:

Fairly smooth for me.
What would you do differently?:

Practice
Run
  • 22h 02m
  • 3.1 miles
  • 7h 06m 27s  min/mile
Comments:

Couldn't catch my breath up the long hill and just tried to hold-on to the top. Coming back and down was much better and tried to push it. Overall felt good.
What would you do differently?:

Could have pushed it a wee bit more. Fell just short of 22 min goal.
Post race
Warm down:

Ate a jimmy john.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Could have pushed a bit on bike and run. 5 min faster than last year so feel good about race overall.
