Comments: Last weekend was a tough adventure race, and I had been suffering all week to recover, so I didn't have any "expectations" for today's race. Main goal was to NOT walk and have fun. I had a blast! Made sure to go my own pace and enjoy the people. This race day also included a mary and 1/2 mary, so the crowds of fans were large and enthusiastic. Enjoyed the cow bells!! Spend some of the time chatting with other runners and thanking the spectators for their encouragement. What would you do differently?: Leave home earlier. Post race
Warm down: Went back to the finish to cheer on some of the others, and then walked to the car to get dry clothes on. Hammies and calves tight, so the long walk was good. What limited your ability to perform faster: My ability!! hahaha Last updated: 2011-04-05 12:00 AM

Rushing to pick up our numbers before the race started. Why are we ALWAYS running late??? Seriously, it was a big event and we finally got to the start line with 5 minutes remaining. Although the heart was racing, the body was not really warmed up well.
