After breakfast and morning coffee, I jogged down to the school to register.

Comments:

Pacing is key and it can be difficult to find the right pace in this race. There are a lot of inexperienced high school kids running - and they go out fast, then walk, then run, then sprint, then walk. So I am constantly passing and being passed through the whole race.

I have run this course 3 times in races: 26:18, 26:22 and today at 26:04. So I was fastest today! I am also probably the lowest weight of all three runs.

A little stretching and a lot of chatting.

Event comments:

A nice race for a good cause. I don't even know if they post final results. My estimate is 100 runners/walkers.
