It also doesn't notify me of new moves, and sometimes eve after I take my turn (or my opponent does, it will be HOURS before it catches up. 2) Scrabble/boggle/other word game cheats on the Web or via app...do people use these when they play? I know my b-i-l does, for a fact. I feel dirty even thinking about it. How prevalent is their use...? Regarding #2: Not sure what the point would be in playing if you use cheats. However, like someone else already pointed out. If you are stuck with limited letters you can keep plugging in combinations of words that seem to make sense. It is a completely different game from scrabble because of that. Also because the word lists are NOT the same. I found that out the hard way.

1) I'm on ipod, however have had some issues when my internet connection plays up a bit, so might not be something to do with the android part. 2), I find you can usually pick when an opponent is using these pretty quickly, they seem to be able to lay big words parallel to yours and get big scores with way too much frequency. I've had some random oponents do this and I don't tend to accept a rematch when they do it. Seriously, how often can someone be on 150 after 3 moves unless their name is webster and they wasted their life writing a dictionary? |

First my WWF name is spaceydog - come play with me! 1) I have an Android phone and I have some glitches occasionally but not with games disappearing like that. Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app? Make sure that you set up your settings to notify you of new moves either with an icon or a sound or both or neither. If you have a notification, then go into the game, don't make a move and then exit, the icon will disappear. I forgot about a few games over the long weekend and wound up forfeiting/losing. Oh well. 2) no, i do not use cheats or a dictionary. because this game won't play a word that isn't a word, you really have nothing to lose. I know when you are stuck with all vowels you want to go look. Just remember some of those silly 2 letter words, like AA or QI. Try to memorize any other non Qu- words, too (QAF is the other that comes to mind). good luck and game on! |

My biggest downfall is I don't know all the words that WWF accepts that are not in the dictionary... Seems to be a lot... I played "muds" the other day to see if it would work... Now I play Word Feud instead...way better. |
