Pre-race routine:

Travelled to Victoria on Ferry on Friday.
Unpacked in hotel. Had dinner with fam. Jim and I went to register.
Got bike and clother prepped and off to bed

Course: Hilly. Some very steep hills maxed out at 17%. About 60 km in absolute downpour. Roads were rivers. I was actually laughing at one point as it seemed so ridiculous. Weather aside the coarse was awesome. Good challeng.

Love the incredible detail you put into this race report. You must have spent many hours working on it :-) Sounds like a nice race though...pity about the rain but it sounds like you worked through it and enjoyed yourself anyway.
