Somehow I think I'm gonna be 4:45 at least, so you got a chance. See, I am going to rely on the "old age excuse"!! Ok- so we might be the same pace. I am shooting between 4:30 and 4:45. My last marathon time at Disney was 4:58. We had fun running and stopped to get our pic. taken with the characters on the course so I am thinking that I should be able to run Tampa in 4:45 (because I won't be stopping to get pics. with Disney characters). 4:30 would be awesome! |

My single girlfriends go out every weekend and I get reports back on thier encounters/flirtations with guys in bars, and how bad their hangovers were the next day. When asked what I did all I ever have to say is, "Well, went for a swim/ride/run then went to bed at 9:00." I don't envy them one little bit! |

I went dancing with friends, thinking about how I could add the dancing time to my training log. :) And asked one of said friends if she wants to do a tri with me next spring/summer, and she said yes! (She already runs marathons, so she's way ahead on training already.) But yeah, most of my Saturday nights are home alone and quiet and that's fine with me. |

The smoke kills my throat, not to mention the smell of my hair and clothes when I come home. Then you have to put up with sleezy old men checking you out thinking they actually have a chance with you if they buy you a drink- no thanks. Or, you get the young hot guys who only talk to you because they want one thing. I much rather spend a night alone and feel great the next morning, than dealing with drunk people, a hang over, smelling like smoke, and getting the trots from being dehydrated from alcohol. I do like to go out for a drink (usually a glass or wine or a cosmo) over dinner with my friends  |
