Someone forwarded this on to me because they know I do some tris, the guy on the left is running in a wetsuit (which presumably means he biked in it as well), the guy on the right is running cycling shoes and gloves. Thought it was funny enough to share. Please don't get bent out of shape if you run in a wetsuit or run in cycling shoes, it's all in good fun.

I bet you that photo is just staged to show the three disciplines of triathlon.  If you look, the people behind them don't even have on shoes.  Another thing that makes points to a staged photo...notice how the all three are aesthetically pleasing to the eye

Who knows you guys might be right I still got a chuckle. If you ask me the shadows are pretty convincing that it's not a photochop or that is a REALLY good photoshop!

I wondered if maybe they were security and didn't have time to change in transition.

I remember reports from Nationals a few years ago... Race got cancelled due to "inclement weather". More like biblical rain. Anyway, they did a 10K the next day. Several people ran in their wetsuits...

You can tell it's a photo edit (ie "Photoshopped") by the edges of the three foreground figures. The lines around them are much harder than they should be and don't blend as well with the rest of the photo. Still, it's a fun mockup.

did you read the rest of the thread or just put your assumption on it....not a photoshop....and their shadows are perfect...hopefully you are not working in the graphic design department somewhere.

The only obvious digital editing of the photo I can tell is some kind of blurring effect has been applied to everything in the photo that is the not the three athletes up front.  It's not that they're just out of focus, it's clearly some kind of effect, because it's poorly done.  That may be what is leading topher to conclude the image is faked, and why the edges around the foreground figures appear to be awkward.  The person that edited the photo just wanted to draw your focus to the foreground and didn't know how to accomplish that with a camera, so they did it after the fact with software.
