Swim
Comments: The swim actually went better than I thought it would go time wise. however, I still felt like i was going too slow. Left eye on new goggles is leaking. Swim is Average (for me). I swam ~29:40 last year at Tri-Indy. 1:50ish in time gained. Results list as 1:52/100 What would you do differently?: train more? Transition 1
Comments: First time doing the flying mount. I had my shoes backwards (my left is normally in front. Overall I took my time, jogged slowly to spot. Peed in the Port-o-john. and got changed. What would you do differently?: Eh, rush a bit more Bike
Comments: Took time getting up to speed the first few miles taking the gel and getting shoes on, etc. I spun out most of the first lap and once I got the tailwind before the halfway point i started to push. Results list 21.9mph What would you do differently?: Start a tad bit harder Transition 2
Comments: Lost one of my shoes so that threw off my flying dismount. Wasn't hurried at all. What would you do differently?: Hurry more? Run
Comments: I was 7th overall on a run that I held back on the first half! Shows the difference a year makes in fitness. took a gel right off the bike and again at 3.5 What would you do differently?: Eh, I raced it decently hard. Post race

Woke up to the power out at my house so that caused a hiccup in my plan. Put my stuff in the car via flashlight. Drove to the reservoir. Picked up packet and got my stuff together. 1 PB&J, 1 Cliff Bar, 1 Banana prior to race. spread out over the drive there. Also, 1 - 24oz water.
Short swim. maybe 25. Biked about 5 min out and 5 min back
