Light jogging and stretching.
Run
  • 1h 45m 38s
  • 9.32 miles
  • 11m 20s  min/mile
Comments:

Really had a nice run going up until mile 7. A fellow runner had collapsed and needed medical attention. Ended up stopping for about 10 minutes to perform CPR until the paramedics arrived.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing differently. Do not for one second regret stopping at mile 7. Will definetly run 15K again next year to improve finishing time from this year. Really a tough and challenging course.
Post race
Warm down:

Nothing in particular. Started to sprinkle so we loaded into car and headed home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The hills and the humidity.

Event comments:

An awesome course! Very challenging with all the hills. Plenty of water stations. Very well organized. A great all around race!

Overall: 770/835
Performance: Good
Course: Very challenging course. First 2 miles were pretty easy and relatively flat. At the base of Glen Oak Park is when it gets tricky. 2 laps through Glen Oak Park, lots of hills and a couple of really steep hills. Finish up with a flat 2 mile run back to the riverfront.

A tip of my hat to you and a shake of your hand...

About two years ago, I was the lucky beneficiary of a passerby's first aid skills.
