Just a quickie – the times that are being displayed on the post are no longer resetting to the local time. They appear (to me) to be Icelandic (assuming Iceland is 3 hours ahead of eastern!!!)

Ooops bad stutter. I just kept getting a IE page saying that I couldn’t open the page on this site. I guess it lied.

That’s one way to get the post count up!

Other equipment I know I track (or would like to) include miles on my bike, and maybe separatly on a set of tires, also I would track how many miles I have on my orthotics (as they tend to last a little longer than my shoes).

One other cool enhance you could make would be to let users store some default information. Say different courses for run, bike, and swim. And a couple of different strength training programs they do on a regular basis to speed up data entry.

Once again I want to express how much I enjoy your site and thank you for all your hard work.

Hey Ron, a simple thing that would be nice would be to add one or two decimal places to the weight field. It fine now for those using pounds, but for those using kgs it's a bit limiting. Imagine only being able to enter in even numbered weights in pounds. Thanks.

Glad to see you got the WALL up. Just a passing thought in the blogs could you add "yard work" to the sport section. I was splitting wood today and listed it as arobic. Thanks.

sorry about the confusion on the "wall". I just had a brain fart and hope you can help. This is not a big deal but. I tend to log on every other day and loose track of the posts I have made. Is there an easy way to keep track of a persons personal posts so replys can be checked on. The site is soooo great but I keep rereading the same posts looking for resonses. Like I said not a really big deal.

if i am reading u correctly, if u click on 'new threads' at top left, u will only get responses to a thread u responded to PLUS any new posts since your last login....

that should keep from u having to 'go through each forum'.

also, experiement with the 'default forum veiwing AND default thread veiwing method' in the 'control panel'  I curretnly have it defaulted to 'flat' but in your case u may want to experiement and change it.

*just a thought...maybe the threads in the 'new threads' that u have previously posted to can be 'marked' somehow? - would that help?

Pardon the interruption being I still know so little about this stuff, but I get an automatic e-mail whenever a thread I contributed to gets a response.  Is that what you're talking about?

I don't get the same email notice that Sharon is talking about. Is there a way to get that if I wanted it?

Just wondering if it was possible to view the totals for all BTers.  The total miles biked, ran, and swam.  It would be cool to see all the mileage we are logging as a group.

Another cool thing to see would be averages for the BTers.  What is the average time spent and mileage for each discipline?  Just a couple of suggestions, other than that the site is unreal awesome!!!

One last thing, we should have an annual convention for the BTers group.  Anybody have enough room for a couple of thousand BTers?  Just a suggestion.

Hi Ron,

The site looks awesome!! I am so happy to be able to put in the weight workouts faster. I will start to enter them.

Is it possible to put rollerblading on the list of sports??

Thanks,
Stacey

Would daily water intake be something fun to track in the graphs?

*speaking of water intake, I need some advice on best known methods for drinking while biking*

I average about 8 miles when I ride but I only seem to get 1 cup (if I'm lucky) of water down. My history includes many hours of swimming, so by nature I'm a mouth breather by instinct when exercising. Trying to get water down when your mouth is like a dried up cracked river bed doesn't work so well...HELP!!! I'm thinking about something like a camel back or a long hose that is in the water bottle somehow tied to the frame of the bike...suggestions?

One other thing I forgot to add last night, how about adding biking to the sports list. I find my leisure bike rides are really killing my pace times because I include them in my daily's.

as of last week, the pace IS NO LONGER being calculated automatically...so you can put in the bike distance and duration but the pace will ONLY be calculated and applied to your results data if you hit the 'calc' button.  this was a big problems especially with swimmer.
