I'm in the Art Museum area in center city Philly. Just getting into tri's so sprint distance. I'm limited by being a horrible swimmer. Have been a runner forever and now also into cycling.

I'm out in the suburbs in Delaware county. I train for events of varying distances... not really racing much this summer, though. Will likely do a late season olympic distance race and fall half marathon, stepping up to full IM distance next season, so I'll be looking for lots of longer rides, and always love company on long bike rides!

Sounds like a good bunch of people on here in the area. I am right near the art museum in Philly. Always looking for running or riding partners

I'm in center city.  Just started tri'ing this summer - have a few sprints and an Oly under my belt, currently training for Poconos 70.3

Not a crazy fast runner or cyclist but I get the job done!

I live in Center City (Old City) and can't believe this isn't a really well-run and organized tri-club in Philly.  Such a bummer.  I did the NJ State tri yesterday and it was brutally hot.  My first Oly and let's just say that I expect to handily beat my time in ANY future oly.  I've never seen so many people walking during a "running" event!  I'm scheduled to do NYC in 2 weeks, assuming they get the Hudson River situation resolved. Anyone know of any OWS in the area?  Would love to get one more in before NYC.

Congrats on NJ, I had a bunch of friends up there. I was slogging it out on the road bike CC to VF and back. Toasty!

There are a couple. T3 Tri, Philly Tri, and Cadence Cycling runs one. I belong to T3 and Cadence: T3 because my friends who got me started belong, and Cadence because I got 10% off my Cervelo by joining.

There is an OWS at Lake Wenonah in NJ every Thursday. You need a USAT card (or $10 one-day) and a couple bucks for the lifeguards. I know Philly Tri has been having one on the Schuylkill up in Conshohocken on Monday nights but you have to be a member.

I did Lake Wenonah twice, last Thursday most recently.  VERY mucky water -- totally covered in grossness after the swim.  I have a late meeting thursday so can't go this week.  still looking around...

Agree with that, Wenonah is my last choice!
