Pre-race routine:

Parked, rode the bus (got a bit dirty), got signed in, gear check and waited for the start...
Post race
Warm down:

Got hosed off and got a beer! (or 2)

Event comments:

This was a HUGE race! I heard one of the registration people say 26,000 people had signed up!! But despite the size it was fairly well run...except for one thing, that to me seems obvious! There was one water station on the course - which a day in the 60's for 3.5 miles is fine. However, when we got to the water station - in the middle of the day - they were out of cups! The volunteers/workers were just holding the water button down on the jugs so people could get water...I partook - but still couldn't believe no more cups?!!?
However, other than that - it was a pretty smooth operation.
