Stay away from the Garmin 405.  I have one and the touch bezel drives me nuts.  You can't swim with it and it doesn't play well with sweat either.  I love the GPS and the heart rate monitor is good but I HATE the touch bezel.

Nice.  I've been using the same thing for 3-years and has been on my wrist 24/7 without a problem.  To each their own on this stuff and I'm a gizmo guy just about as much as the other.

Side note is I got a lead on the pack at IMCdA when everyone else was hitting their watch buttons.  That lead only lasted for 3-strokes though!   I figured heck we were all starting at 7:00am; I could pretty easily do the math.

Add me to the pack with the garmin 310. It's great. The only "con" is that it doesn't work as an everyday watch. They have recently added a swim function that I have not tried.
