Swim
What would you do differently?: Start more to the outside to get more open space Transition 1
Comments: Big run from swim to bike. That was most of the T time. What would you do differently?: Practice running after the swim. Bike
What would you do differently?: Practice corners and turns at higher speeds. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Learn how to jump off bike. Run
Comments: Very hot course with no shade. I couldn't kick it into gear and get going. Gave it everything but couldn't work though the wall. I lost a lot of time here! Would like to work on running before my next event. What would you do differently?: Eat a shot block on second loop of bike. Post race
Warm down: None. Had to sit in the shade to cool down. What limited your ability to perform faster: Heat. Event comments: Need more drink stations on the hot days. Loved the pools of ice at the end of the race. Delay of race due to car breakdown on the course and antifreeze spill needing to be cleaned up. Last updated: 2011-07-30 12:00 AM

Stayed overnight. Arrived at 6. Set up transition area and checked out outs and ins. Stretched.
