Run
Comments: Felt tired at the end of the day, but had a good run anyway. Quite happy with my time in my first 5-miler. What would you do differently?: Eat better during the day of the race. Hydrate more ahead of time, since little water available on course. Post race
Warm down: Strolling around the park. Oranges, watermelon, and water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really. It's a good time for me. Event comments: Several people who were running this had ALSO run the Lobsterman 5-Miler this morning! Yeesh, way to humble the rest of us! Last updated: 2005-09-10 12:00 AM

This is a sunset run - began at 5. WEnt into work most of the afternoon, and nutrition today was a bit wacky. Ate a whole-wheat roll with PB and J in the car prior to race.
Light jog to start line - 3 minutes. Stretching
