Subject: RE: should i worry about kick turns?They do help with a rhythm, but I don't do them too much. Most ppl will agree that pool times are generally faster than OWS times. Part of it is the kick off the wall. You can glide, even if it over the course a second or two. This also helps a bit with fatigue. The shorter the pool, the more you kick off the wall. Over the course of 1000s of meters, this can add up. If you don't kick off the wall, no biggie, methinks. Edited by d00d 2011-08-09 2:54 AM
