*hangs her head in shame* No, I don't know anything about bikes!

You know, yall are doing a great job of beating me when I'm down. Keep it up.

Did I mention that my bike is still in the shop b/c I can't pick it up b/c of my car situation? Or that I need to train because my race is in a month? Oh yea, my car is in Augusta not working. How about spending the next couple days trying to find and buy a car on top of being swamped at work? How about worrying about money? Or finding a new job to replace this boring one I have? How about not being able to move before I have a job lined up now because I'll have a car payment that I had the luxury of not having before? How about cutting my savings in half? GGGGRRRR

I'm ok-just venting. Just wanted to make you feel bad. I'm going back to pulling my hair out...sigh....

(really not looking for sympathy--you guys are cheering me up. I'm getting somewhat excited about my new bike rack and its funny that my bad luck rubbed off on Welshy and Rocket Man)

Cavu9 - 2005-09-19 2:05 PM I come back after multiple hurricane evacuations and weeks away from the wonderful world of BT and the first I read is of Haley's inability to "change her tire".......damn have I missed this place!  It is always good to come home.

Glad you're back Lane. Once I get my head on straight this week, I'll have a post about my adventures for the past 2 weeks (broken bike, crappy race wearing pink-ugh, the death of my Explorer, fun of renting a car, fear of losing my job) so everyone can have a chuckle.

Yes, my voodoo works on your house too. Sorry about the squirrels.

Welshy, the tent in your pants sounds like a personal problem. There is no voodoo there, just my striking good looks...

Damn, no voodoo causing the tent????? Guess I'm just smitten with Haley and her striking good looks... I imagine the Honda Element will take care of that, though...

*hangs her head in shame* No, I don't know anything about bikes!

My TNT coach (run4yrlif) has taught me alot about bikes.  Hang with us Augusta folks and we'll teach you about bikes!  Actually, I just spend a lot of time at my local bike shop and learn from them.  The one day the owner told me that he wanted me to work there because he thought it would be a good idea to have a girl working there on Saturday.  If  I weren't so busy training I could!  And of course I would work there to learn, not to pick up cyclists.  Because as you know, there's aren't any single, athletic available men in Augusta

I'm not going to Augusta again unless I absolutely have to (after I go get my car). You can visit me from now on.

Alright, I'll think about letting you ride in it. Only if you're nice though. It doesn't hurt you have a red bike, it matches mine.

Nope. Not going back. In fact, to keep me from having to go back...you want a free, semi-working, for the time being, Explorer...
