Garmin 910xt released today (Page 4)

Is there a reason no one is using Trisports and the BT discount we get?  I've had nothing but goodness when dealing with them especially since I moved over here.

Is at the bottom of the product page. I had the same idea... if another sale comes up I'd love to know about it!!

If Garmin isn't shipping until late Nov that actually makes sense.  Cause Garmin is going to ship to those that pre-ordered off their site then send to the vendors (or at the same time I guess).  So there has to be a turn around from when Garmin ships it, they receive it, they do what they need to do to catalog it, then ship it back out. 

I'm not giving up on it yet.  Ordered and still hoping to have by Christmas.

I'm still up in the air about this watch vs my current 310xt.  But, if and when I upgrade, it will be through REI.  I've learned the hard way with various GPS HRMs that REI is the way to go. 

I have already exchanged my 310xt once 15 months or so after owning.  It had a cracked screen this summer and REI exchanged with no problem for a new 310.  No questions asked.

I was also able to return a Garmin 405 5 or 6 months into owning it because it took me that long to figure out that I couldn't live with the crappy bezel touch system.

The point is that REI has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and these watches are expensive to repair after the limited warranty.  Plus, members get 10% - $45 - back through the year-end dividend.

Maybe you can see if they will let you preorder it.

So I was incredibly stupid for selling my 610 thinking even if it was later

than Nov, at least it would be before years end!!
