My first go at any sort of official run... Very pleased with the results considering I had only been out running 3 times prior to the race!

Run! Now that I am writing this entry after having run a marathon, it's easy to answer this with a million responses. Having the experience would make all the difference in the world (and the preparation of real training).

Lack of training prior to the race, and poor physical condition (not terrible, but considering that I am 25 Lbs lighter now than I was at this race...)


This is a very fun course for beginners just getting into running, and for veterans.. It is very well organized and is just a big party. It may be one of the very things that inspired me to try out a marathon!
