Wish you could have been there!

Well, I was close, it was really hard, but I made it through. The houses, the tarps, the bare trees. So horrible.

Pirate-I admire your strength for doing what you do. I'm sure it feels better knowing you're helping rather than just driving through going back to a nice, safe home.

Sure, let me know. I'm pretty much down to one weekend ride per week, but will be on vacation all of Thanksgiving, no plans to go out of town.

Capitol Cyclery was part of a state-wide chain HQed in BR, but I believe the LC store is now independent. From what I hear, there are very involved with the LC cycling club (Jolly Roger) and community, probably are your best bet down there for buying a new bike.

Oh, and congrats to TaraTri1, who finished her first 10K at Cajun Cup. Even if she did suffer a self-proclaimed "Blonde Moment" pre-race, which caused her to be directionally challenged and not able to find our BT meeting place.
