Subject: Need a quick answer, please USAT

I'm registering online with USAT to get a yearly membership.  They show three different levels of membership, Bronze, Silver or Gold.  The USAT site doesn't tell what the differnece is besides price.  Is there a difference in regards to being able to sign up for races and not have to pay one day memberships?

I'm looking for current USAT members to help me out here.

Anybody?

If I remember correctly, the Bronze is 1 year, Silver is 2 years and Gold is 3 years. That is the only differance

Thank you.  I just wanted to make sure a Bronze membership is the same as the others in regards to registering for a race.  That makes since.  Thanks.

Registration done.  Funny how they have their online registration set up.  They don't break down what each level means until you're half way through registering.  Never-the-less, I'm now a registered card carrying memeber of the USAT.  Now...onto registering for the Pigman Long course  half IM.  Yippie!

I'm probably late, but click on "Benefits" or go here:

http://www.usatriathlon.com/Membership/membership_benefits.htm

The difference is the premiums that you get, silver members get a messenger bag, gold members also get a pen and some other intangibles. All you need is bronze, and you don't even need that if you're doing less than three triathlons.

Actually he took one look and called me a slacker. Threatened to send me home to change. Luckily I keep a FAST sweater in my office.

Very cool! I live about half an hour from the Pigman course and I've done the sprint twice. If you need any info or planning help, let me know.
