Just an FYI, the registration for the Police 1/2 on April 30th/06 has opened at the Running Room site.  There are 1500 spots according to the site.

Thanks for the notice Mike. I registered today.

Last year my sister and I showed up almost a 1/2 hr late and considered just skipping it and going to Tim's for coffee instead. But since we had no money so decided to run it anyway and had a great time. This year we will arrive on time!!

No problem.  I'm just hoping there is better weather than last year, it certainly made my first half an interesting one. Smile

It was  quite a day out there last year.

$60 entrance fee for a 1/2 seems a little steep to me, but I'll end up laying it down anyways. It was a pretty good race last year, weather not withstanding.

You guys missed some fun at the resolution run today.

Yeah, $60 is a little high.  But at least all of the funds go to IronCops who in turn will donate them this summer at the IMC to the Cdn Cancer Society.  Personally, I'm thinking of taking up their fund raising option and raising the $120 to get my $60 back, we'll see.

Yeah, I'm sure the Resolution Run was a blast, although I'd have had a tough time had I signed up, as I didn't get to bed until about 4.  The weather I'm sure made the run, I know I did a two run yesterday outside and this weather is the best weather I've run in since October.  Not too cold and not too much wind.  Although the snow is a little soft, but then again it is winter, so things can't be perfect I guess.

How's the watch?

I think I have to volunteer at this event.  Looking forward to it though.
