I see you use the logs, if you use the 'your races' section and 'add race', you will go through 'wizards' to create a link that will be added to the directory while also creating a 'planned race' in your race log.
This is still a work-in-progress. Eventually we will turn it back on to add races directly to the directory (instead of through 'your races')
when i do that, it brings me to the screen asking me to enter information as if I already did the race, even though the date is well in the future.
I found it's showing up when I click on the race that I'm planning to do it, but it doesn't show up anywhere in the blog, like it does on others. Is that just a premium member feature?
You're entering a draft version of a race report and adding the race to the database at the same time. That way the two are associated from the start if the race didn't exist already.
You just end up with a blank race report for a future date. The race will show up in your training log after you've done the race and saved the report as non-draft. This is for all members, not just Performance accounts.
I will also add, it doesnt show up in the 'blog' as yes, the planned races and training area input is bronze plus...BUT you get the same info/links to show up in 'Your Races'...just take a look.
I have to apologize on this as I still owe everyone a FAQ explaining this and how it works...its still pseudo-development and is part of a grander scheme.
