My hubby and I completed the tour on our tandem. It does not climb hills very well. Other than that we can really fly on it.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

This was just a casual Bike Tour. We went our own pace. (picked up alot of drafters along the way :) )

Event comments:

Everything was great. The only thing that went wrong for us on the ride was almost (by inches) being taken out by a sherrif's cruiser that pulled out right in front of us trying to catch someone who was speeding. That was a very scary moment! My hubby locked the back tire up and we started to slide sideways, but luckily we kept the bike up and missed the cruiser.

Wow, glad you survived the cruiser scare! I have always wanted to do this bike ride, it sounds like so much fun. I'll be out in your neck of the woods next weekend, doing the Duathlon at the Mid Ohio track in Mansfield!

sounds fun...just a question...who gets to ride where on the tandem?  i always wondered how the one in back enjoys lookin at the person-in-fronts back?  or maybe i have no idea?
