Agreed, game aside... the commercials were watered down by the censors and the half time show was completely drenched.

Felt kind of like having a conversation with a kindly old passerby telling you about how good he was back in the day while you politely nod and smile.  Dont get me wrong, I love the Stones music, but cmon.  That was almost spooky and Mick sounded winded at times.  I am sure they got a nice payday though so the joke is on us I suppose.

They asked him in a pregame interview with Cokie Roberts to make a prediction.  His reply:  I'm not American.  I'm not into American Football.    Then some discussion about Manchester United.....  geez.   It was creepy watching him swivel his hips and being 62 and all....  it was almost uh,  disgusting.

They coulda hired Aerosmith but maybe they're just not old enough??

I thought they were dead.

Well since Keith Richards HAS been dead for 10 years, you're not far wrong.  They just resurrect him.  Hollywood animation and makeup crews work wonders.

It was awful!  I thought they sounded like complete and total crap.  Did anyone alse like the 5 second delay and the censor of words that get aired on the radio all the time?

The Stones are getting old ... we all are!!!  They may have lost their style and their voice, but, wouldn't you like to get paid the obcene amounts Mick and the boys get for their concerts?  Crappy or not, they do get the big bucks just for showing up!  Personally, I haven't listened to them since their "Beggar's Banquet" album way back when ....
