It does talk about the Paleo diet, but it also has a lot of very recent information about sports nutrition. They break down eating into periods: prior to working out including the last 10 minutes, during exercise (further breaking down what to eat when exercising for varying lengths of time ), within 30 minutes after exercise, within the period of time after exercise that is equal to the length of the exercise session, and the period until your next Stage 1. I'm only a few chapters into it, but I like it a lot. Seems like you don't even need to be into the Paleo diet to get something out of it.
