I started buckling down yesterday. I laid out my plan for the next 2 months.

No, at least it wasn't last year.  Still a great race.  I raced super clydes last year, I was mad, I had a terrible bike and was only 3 minutes off the third place finisher.  That mug should have been mine, dammit.

Lots of fun... I even found the pic... I can't imagine why I didn't by a blown up copy.  I'm just glad they didn't snap the pic 15 seconds earlier when I was flailing around in the surf trying to get the wetsuit off.

I did this as my first ever tri last year.  Its a great race for a first tri.  Challenging but not overly.  Not sure if the swim will be in the ocean or the river this year.  Last year was the ocean because fo crap in the river from the hurricanes.  The hill is during the bike and it not to bad going out, but is short and steep coming back in.  Otherwise nice and flat.

Would anybody be interested in sharing a hotel room.  I would love to do it again this year but can't afford the drive and hotel by myself on a poor college student salary!
