I'll be there. So will my wife. Been trying for 2 months to get an F-1 format on the race listing.

It's only 15 minutes from my in-laws, so free babysitting.

another race i signed up for in 2005. i was pretty pissed to look at the bike course map and find it wasn't on the infield track! no biggey though. should be a fast course and lots of fun.

I won't be doing it, but I have done a F-1 duathlon before. Just a suggestion, if it's a flat course, I would recommend using cages and running shoes. Mine was in Abilene on a very flat course so really didn't lose much power on the bike by using cages and saved me lots of time in transition because I just chunked the bike on the rack and took off.

That'd be a good idea if I hadn't broken my toe cages when I was trying to get them off. Wish someone had told me what a pedal wrench was.

However, since I'm just running the du (not racing it) I'm not really worried about transition times so much. I'm still a newby on clipless pedals, so the Du will be some good practice for me on high speed clip-ins. Almost waxed on Sunday after starting up from a red light.

Alright I'm registered!

This will be good a good time to test out my knee. If it hurts the runs are only 2 miles so walking won't be too mentall painful.

I'm excited its race season finally!
