Subject: "Save As" for imported plans?
Hey guys -

I'm trying to figure out if this just isn't possible, or it is and I just can't for the life of me figure out how...

Now, I know if I want to create my own plan, I can do that, build it, name it tweak it, etc, etc, and then import it.

If I am using one of the pre-built plans, is it just a straight import into the planned training calendar and that's it? No way to name it "Tweaked Sprint Plan" or whatever, and be able to make adjustments and then upload it?

No biggie if you can't, I just wondered if you could and I was just missing something.

Thanks!
Cindy
(and I'm sorry I always seem to bug you on the weekends - y'all just never get a break!)

We don't have a way to import one of the pre-defined plans into the Personal Training Plan editor. What I'd do to get the same result would be the following:

  • Import it into my Planned Training
  • view it in the Week view with comments (or print it)
  • Open another window to Planned Training Blog view
  • Edit the days there
  • To save it somewhere, I'd just copy it a year or two into the future.
It'd be tedious, but having typed more than a few training plans into the Training Plan editor, I can categorically state that there's no way to do enter a plan that isn't.

Actually, a user requested creating 'personal training plans' from a defined date range from planned or actual training data....then you can name it, tweak it and re-import it whenever.

We will see what we can do...it may be easy.  But marmadaddy's suggestion will get you by for now.
